I like to write music. On occasion, I also like to draw and do other forms of art, though I'm not necessarily very good at it. I also like to make games.

So I just started working with Stencyl

I am totally not used to this program at all (my primary software is Game Maker 8), but I think I'm slowly getting the hang of it. I've wanted to make some Flash/HTML5 games but Game Maker Studio's HTML5 module is prohibitively expensive for me at the moment (and I don't know of any support for the Newgrounds API), so it looks like I'm using Stencyl.

At any rate, you can expect me to branch out from submitting music and art to to submitting something a little more interactive. Don't worry, I have enough sense not to make lazy, dolled up installments of Stencyl examples.

Speaking of which, let me leave a note for those of you who are making lazy edits of Stencyl examples: if I come across your game, I will vote 0, and I will leave a negative review. If you don't like it, tough. Make something that has actual effort put into it. I encourage everyone reading this news post to discourage lazy Stencyl example edits as well.

If you don't know what the Stencyl examples are, download the free version of Stencyl today and see for yourself. THE MOAR YOU KNOW!

I use Flash CS3. Action Scripts are fucking better.

One can write code in Stencyl. The blocks aren't strictly necessary.

And I have yet to see you make a game/movie that has any ActionScript at all.
